Οι Ρώσοι ισχυρίζονται ότι έδιωξαν το αμερικανικό πλοίο από τα όρια των χωρικών τους υδάτων

Πολεμικά αεροσκάφη τύπου Sukhoi-24 του ρωσικού στόλου της Μαύρης Θάλασσας υποχρέωσαν αντιτορπιλικό του αμερικανικού πολεμικού ναυτικού να αποχωρήσει από τα χωρικά ύδατα της Ρωσίας, στα όρια των οποίων εκινείτο, σύμφωνα με πηγές των ρωσικών ενόπλων δυνάμεων στην προσαρτηθείσα ουκρανική Κριμαία.
Σύμφωνα με τις ρωσικές πηγές, το αμερικανικό πλοίο «Ross» απέπλευσε από το ρουμανικό λιμάνι της Κωστάντζας, «κατευθύνθηκε προς τα χωρικά ύδατα της Ρωσίας, εκινείτο ακριβώς στην οριογραμμή τους, οι ενέργειές του ήταν προκλητικές και επιθετικές».
Η δραστηριότητα του αμερικανικού πλοίου προκάλεσε την αντίδραση του κέντρου ελέγχου των συνόρων με έδρα τη Σεβαστούπολη της Κριμαίας, καθώς και των πλοίων του ρωσικού στόλου, τα οποία βρίσκονταν στην περιοχή. Κατά τις ρωσικές πηγές «τα καταδρομικά αεροσκάφη Σουχόι-24, τα οποία απογειώθηκαν, επέδειξαν στο αμερικανικό πλήρωμα την ετοιμότητά τους να παρεμποδίσουν με αυστηρότητα την παραβίαση των συνόρων και να υπερασπιστούν τα συμφέροντα της χώρας», με αποτέλεσμα «το αντιτορπιλικό να μεταβάλει ξαφνικά πορεία και να απομακρυνθεί προς τα διεθνή ύδατα στην ανατολική Μ.Θάλασσα».
Ο συνομιλητής του ρωσικού πρακτορείου επεσήμανε ότι «όπως δείχνουν όλα τα δεδομένα, οι Αμερικανοί δεν ξέχασαν το επεισόδιο του Απριλίου του 2014, όταν ένα Σουχόι-24 ουσιαστικά εξουδετέρωσε όλον τον ηλεκτρονικό εξοπλισμό στο υπερσύγχρονο αντιτορπιλικό με στοιχεία αντιπυραυλικής ασπίδας Donald Cook» σε παρόμοιο επεισόδιο στα ανοιχτά της Οδησσού.

30.05.2015 Russian Navy jets forced a US Navy ship into the eastern Black Sea after it was noticed heading into Russia's territorial waters.
Russian Navy Su-24 jets forced US Navy destroyer USS Ross to go into neutral waters in the Black Sea, a source in Crimea’s security forces told RIA Novosti.
The US Navy ship was noticed heading directly toward Russian waters after leaving the Romanian port of Costanta. The incident comes on the same day as fugitive Georgian ex-leader Mikheil Saakashvili’s appointment as governor of Ukraine’s Black Sea-bordering Odessa region.
According to the source, Russian Black Sea Navy ships are constantly monitoring Russian territorial waters and are ready to suppress any violations.
“It seems that the Americans did not forget the April 2014 incident when one Su-24 actually shut down all equipment on the new USS Donald Cook American destroyer with anti-missile system elements,” the source added.Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said that US missile ships near Russian borders pose a danger to strategic stability on Saturday, while at the Shangri-La Dialogue security summit in Singapore.
“The ship’s crew acted provocatively and aggressively, which caused alarm among operators of monitoring stations and Black Sea Fleet ships carrying out assignments in the Black Sea. Scrambled Su-24 attack jets demonstrated a readiness to forcibly suppress border violations and defend the country’s interest,” the source said.
